Common Queries
You Asked, We Answered
What are the payment options?
We accept cash or card. We are unable to provide printed receipts, but we can email them to you once you have paid by card.
What times are you open?
Thursday - Sunday 12-5pm.
Including Bank Holidays.
Available for hire at other times.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes we do. These can be arranged by emailing the office via office@thebustardtearooms.co.uk or discussing with a member of our team.
They can also be used for outdoor activities at Gul Outdoor Therapy, or for gifts from Outside In.
Are you family friendly?
Very much so! We have a selection of children's toys, both inside and out to keep little ones entertained. We also have high chairs, plastic plates & cups, and baby changing facilities.
For us, being family friendly also means accepting all families, of all shapes and sizes, whether they include just 1 person and their dog, a whole bus full, or people with additional requirements.
If you're at all worried about coming, why not give us a call and we can talk through what you might need.
How accessible are you?
We are accessible on main roads, even when the red flags are up (which means the army are using the area for exercises).
On a more specific level, we have a flat car park with disabled spaces, and a new wheelchair ramp providing access to the back entrance. Once inside there are some tight corners and a couple of ramps to help navigate inside steps where possible. The access to the garden, and the garden itself is flat. Toilets are also fully accessible for anyone.
The field for camping is level, and has a temporary gate directly into it for driving in, but there are a set of unequal steps leading down into the tea rooms gardens.

We will do all we can to assist with wheelchair access.
