Tea Rooms

Food the Way It Should Be

Situated minutes from Stonehenge, this is how a tea room should be. A cosy little nook, or a table in the sun; the choice is yours. All our food is fresh, delicious, and affordable.

Dogs and children are welcome, with water bowls (for the dogs!) and changing facilities and high chairs (for the children!). There is also a selection of toys, both inside and out, to make sure that your little ones stay entertained so you can finish your whole drink.

We also have a license, so beer and wine are available by the bottle.

Camping

The Great Outdoors the Way It Should Be

Situated 5 mintues drive from Stonehenge, this 1 acre field has extensive views over local farmland and the military training area. It is separate from the adjacent caravan site and opens straight to the Bustard’s garden. Dogs and children are welcome.

If you would like to try camping, but don’t have your own tent, we can help with that. We have 8 man bell-tents for hire which can be put up ready for your arrival. They are spacious for families, with standing headroom over much of the inside.

This site is for tents only. The campsite is a green field site which means minimal facilities.

Accommodation

Sleeping the Way It Should Be

The Bustard has been an Inn for centuries. Situated on the main coaching road from Salisbury to Devizes it has seen many travellers since it was built some 400 years ago.

We are an old building, with some steps and tight corners, wheelchair access is possible, but not easy. There is no lift to the first floor. The Bustard offers 1 family and 1 twin room, for bed and breakfast, and these are posted on AirBnB and Booking.com.

Craft

Supporting Local the Way It Should Be

Every tea rooms should have a little craft centre showing the select products from local crafts people. We have a small range of gifts from local pottery, to locally written books as well as bespoke scarves and a wide range of sewn products.

There are greetings cards from a local artist and all items sold give money to the charity which owns the Bustard premises.
